Chris Evenhuis is a freelance comic book artist and illustrator based in The Netherlands. He started out working as a visual designer for video games and as an artist on Franco/Belgian comic books, later moving on to US comic series such as ‘Magic: The Gathering’, ‘Shadow Show: Stories In Celebration of Ray Bradbury’, ‘Action Man’, ‘GI Joe’ and ‘Monstro Mechanica’, a creator-owned series with Paul Allor and Sjan Weijers, starring Leonardo da Vinci, his female apprentice and their wooden robot bodyguard.
Chris started working as a cover artist on ‘Wynonna Earp: Homecoming’ in 2016, illustrated by Lora Innes, with colours by Jay Fotos. He then started his run as cover & interior artist on ‘Wynonna Earp: Legends’, co-written by Beau Smith, Tim Rozon and Melanie Scrofano. Most recently, he teamed up again with Beau, Tim and Jay for the all-new, 72-page Wynonna Earp graphic novel ‘Bad Day at Black Rock’, which was entirely crowd-funded by Earpers! ‘Bad Day at Black Rock’ will be released in August!
